Just as baby boomers have changed other societal conventions, so too are they reinventing the concept of retirement. According to a recent AARP study, 70 percent of people age 45 and older plan to continue working well past the age of 65. This desire to keep active plays a big role in where boomers want to live during their later years. AARP Magazine recently examined the changing face of retirement, selecting the fifteen best places to live. Stephanie Curtis spoke with AARP special projects editor Ron Geraci about their study.
